Cinnemon Leaf essential oil is has a warm, spicy smell and is light in colour; It has a wide application in aroma therapy and is well known for its properties. Cinnamon oil is very strong and must be used sparingly.
The oil is extracted from Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Synonyms include C. verum and Laurus cinnamomum) of the Lauraceae family.
Blends well with clove, frankincense, mandarin and orange
Irritant, always patch test first, do not use concentrations above 0.5%
