Also known as Pucha-put in its native habitat, Patchouli Essential Oil has been used for centuries in Chinese, Japanese and Malaysian cultures. The oil was also used in ancient times by the Kashmir cloth producers to 'Hallmark' their products and was used extensively in the 'flower power' days of the 60's and worn as an exotic fragrance,some still do. Patchouli essential oil has a warm, spicy, earthy, woody strong odour. Its fragrance has been known to relieve everyday stresses and strains and to enhance relaxation and tranquillity Patchouli blends well with Rose, Geranium, Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Lavender and Lemon.
