Ylang Ylang (Flower of Flowers) is a tall tropical tree that normally grows wild and is completely resistant to pest and disease, requiring no artificial pesticides or fertilisers. It takes the flowers of fifteen trees to produce one kilo of oil. The oil has a rich, exotic, heady, floral scent. Ylang Ylang is used extensively in expensive perfumery and in aromatherapy it is commonly used as an aphrodisiac. Perfect when used in massage blends, baths or vaporizers to enhance those magic moments. Ylang Ylang is also soothing and relaxing for everyday stresses and strains.
Ylang ylang blends well with Sandalwood, Clove Bud, Vetiver, Cinnamon, Patchouli, Lemon and Bergamot Essential Oils, but it is rich enough and full enough to be used on its own.
