A string of simple prayer beads, with a wonderful Sandalwood fragrance, suitable for Tibetan prayers.
- They have been fairly traded from India and are used by the Tibetan Refugee community in India.
- Hand packed into little mala bag made from recycled material, so each and every bag will be different.
- Included is the price is Meryl Tserings "Om Mani Padme Hum" postcard.
Sandalwood is a threatened species of an indigenous tree in South India and the harvest of these trees is controlled by the Governments. It is illegal cut or harvest these trees and therefore illegal to export to the UK. Finding real sandalwood mala in the UK is almost impossible and the purchase price will reflect this. Our mala are made to a high standard and do hold their fragrance, but are are not original.
