Product Description
A series of cotton or polyester prayer flags, with the prayers beautifully hand printed in Tibetan. They are fairly traded in India and are produced by Tibetan Refugees who run private small business. Each set are stitched onto a string ready to display and will straighten out after a couple of days hanging.
You have the choice of Size and print
- Mini (9x7cm) & Small (13x9cm) strings have 10 FLAGS attached and
- Large (36x25cm) strings have 15 FLAGS attached
- There are WINDHORSE or PRAISE TO THE 21 TARA prints. Print may vary from picture.
Flag size hxw -
- Mini 9x7cm - rough length 73cm
- Mini 5 pk 12x9cm - rough length 90cm x 5 rolls
- Small 13x10cm - rough length 105cm
- Large 36x25cm - rough length 375cm (3.75m)
Traditionally the five elements are represented by the colour of the flags, Blue=space, White=water, Red=fire, Green=air & wind, Yellow=earth.
**Please note that prayer flags represent the Buddhist concept of impeminance and will therefore fade and fray with use.**

The flags arrived promptly. They are as described, bright colours with the windhorse design printed on each flag. The flags are securely stitched to a sturdy retaining tape which looks durable and tidy. Hopefully if it ever stops raining for long enough I will hang them from a tree in my garden and they will spread blessings.
